How to Download Instagram Photos and Carousels (All Images)

Step-by-step

1. Open the Instagram photo or carousel post and tap the three-dot menu (•••), then Copy Link.
2. Go to savereels.online/en/instagram-video-downloader and paste the link.
3. Press Download — for a carousel, every image (and any video slide) appears as a selectable grid.
4. Use Select all, or tap only the images you want to keep.
5. Press Download selected to save the pictures in full resolution.

Single photos vs carousel posts

A single-image post downloads as one full-resolution JPG. A carousel post — the kind you swipe through — contains several photos, and sometimes a mix of photos and videos. SaveReels detects the carousel and shows every slide, so you are not stuck saving only the first image the way most tools do.

Each slide is downloadable on its own, so you can keep the whole set or just the two or three you actually want. Video slides in a carousel are saved as MP4, and photo slides as images.

Select all or pick specific images

When a carousel loads, every image is selected by default. If you only want a few, tap Deselect all and then choose just the slides you want — the counter shows how many are selected. Press Download selected and each one saves in turn.

This is the fastest way to grab, say, only the product photos from a brand's carousel, or just the one slide you were looking for, without downloading the entire set.

Full resolution, no quality loss

Screenshotting a photo captures it at your screen's resolution, with the interface and often lower sharpness. Downloading the source image keeps the original resolution the creator uploaded, so it stays crisp when you view it later, print it, or use it (with permission).

There is no watermark added, and no login or app is required — the whole process runs from the public post link in your browser.

If download fails

• Use a link to the post itself (instagram.com/p/…), not a profile or Stories link.
• The account must be public — private posts cannot be downloaded.
• If only one image saves, make sure you pressed Download selected after choosing slides, not just the first thumbnail.
• On iPhone, images may save to Files — use Share → Save Image to move them to Photos.
• Copy a fresh link if an old one fails; deleted posts will not resolve.
