A Threads post containing more than one photo used to fail outright — nothing saved, and retrying didn't help. The Threads video downloader now saves every photo in a multi-photo post, and it can fall back to a second source when the first one can't read a link, so more posts work first time.

That copy is gone, cutting the download to a fraction of what it was: faster to install, less mobile data to get started, and more room left on your phone. Nothing about how the app works has changed.

When you shared a link from another app, SaveReels always opened in English, whatever language you had been using. It now opens in your phone's language if we have it, so a share no longer drops you into a page you cannot read.
