These checks describe current support expectations for public links. SaveReels does not bypass logins, private accounts, deleted media, or platform access restrictions.
Instagram Reels and video
Operational for public linksPrivate accounts, stories, highlights, and login-gated links are unsupported.
TikTok videos
Operational for public linksDeleted, private, or region-restricted videos may fail.
YouTube Shorts
Operational for public linksPrivate, age-restricted, or removed videos are unsupported.
Facebook Reels
Operational for public linksFriends-only, group-only, and login-only media cannot be downloaded.
Twitter/X videos
Operational for public linksProtected accounts and deleted posts are unsupported.
Before retrying a failed download
- - Open the link in a browser while logged out and confirm it is public.
- - Copy the direct post, Reel, Short, or video URL instead of a profile or feed URL.
- - Try a different browser if your device blocks the file download.
- - Respect copyright and only download content you own or have permission to use.
